Walking into the Barcelo Asia Gardens & Thai Spa is like waking up in the Far East. You will discover coral buildings, gardens, ponds and relaxing fountains and great views of the sea. The hotel is located at the bottom of the Sierra de Cortina mountain range.
Total relaxation is the main focus of this hotel. Throughout the tropical grounds you will encounter several swimming pools (3 heated). Every pool is surrounded by palms with shady places to sun bathe on the comfortable daybeds.
The spa is the centrepiece of this hotel with their state-of-the art Thai spa. Here you can indulge in a good range of massages, from a traditional Thai massage to a Lomi Lomi Hawaiian-style massage. Meals are available in the 4 restaurants, with a choice of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. There is also a buffet restaurant.
The double guestrooms are decorated to a high standard in the Balinese style. Comparable to other hotels, the rooms are large at around 30 square meters. Facilities in the rooms include satellite television, DVD player, Wi-Fi, iPod docking station, hairdryer, bathroom with twin sinks and separate shower, kimono, slippers. Each room also has either a balcony or terrace.
