Hotel Los Gigantes used to be offered by TUI either as part of 'Thomson Gold' or with Portland Holidays. Since Portland Holidays was closed down by TUI in May 2011, the hotel continued to be offered by Thomson as part of their 'Gold' program until the end of October 2011. From November 2011, TUI will offer the Hotel Los Gigantes via their Thomson brand, as part of a new concept, known as 'Exclusively For Adults'!
Although the marketing concept may have changed slightly, you can still be assured that the Hotel Los Gigantes continues to offer outstanding holidays to people who prefer not to have children in the hotel.
This hotel is perfect for people who appreciate value for money and want a quality holiday in Tenerife at any time of the year. Strictly for adults, this hotel has everything you need for a great time, from romantic dinners in the A La Carte restaurant to sunbathing all day on the terrace that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The location of the hotel provides you with a breathtaking backdrop of cliffs and is regarded as one of the best locations for a holiday hotel on the island.
The hotel has 2 swimming pools. The large one is saltwater and this is the place where you have the views of the Atlantic. This is also the area where the daily activities take place. The other pool is smaller and provides you with a peaceful setting where you can relax and read a book or listen to your MP3 player.
Meals are provided in the main restaurant from a buffet. The main dining room also offers great sea views out to La Gomera. There is a gala dinner each week with Canarian and international dishes. For that special occasion, why not head towards the A La Carte section, where you'll get waiter service!
There is a varied verity of entertainment on offer at the Hotel Los Gigantes, which is provided on the outdoor terrace or indoors, dependant on the season or local weather conditions. You will routinely encounter some cabaret a live band or a duo in the bar. Daily activities are also on offer. You will also have access to a gym, tennis, squash, badminton, table tennis, pool and snooker table.
Each guest room has the following facilities, bathroom with shower, telephone, air conditioning, television, deposit box and either a terrace or balcony.
Suites are available with a double bedroom and sofa bed in the lounge. Also, superior rooms available with tea/coffee-making facilities, bathrobes, fruit and wine on arrival!
