Guayarmina Princess receives top marks from us, because it is a really outstanding hotel that has their guests returning for many years after their first visit. The hotel is reasonably large, with 513 guestrooms and has an official rating of 4 stars.
The Guayarmina Princess hotel was a firm favourite with Portland Holiday customers for many years. This hotel was offered to the UK public by both Portland and Thomson Holidays. TUI closed down their Portland brand in May 2011; however this hotel continues to be offered as part of the 'Platinum' range from Thomson Holidays.
On arrival at the hotel, you will not fail to be impressed with the Roman temple design of the atrium, with its porticoes and white pillars. You'll need to think hard to convince yourself that you're in a beachfront hotel in Tenerife and not Italy! Moving inside to the lobby area, you will see a clean, polished marble floor and palm trees that are growing under the high ceilings. Once through the lobby the atrium opens out to the 2 large swimming pools that have a number of little bridges crossing them.
Facilities in a standard room include air conditioning, television, phone, fridge hire, room safe hire and either a balcony or terrace. The twin rooms can sleep a maximum of 4 adults on a combination of twin beds and sofa beds. All the twin rooms that can accommodate 4 adults are located on low floors outside of the main building. Upgrades are available, including sea views and suites. Single rooms are also offered.

With the exception of lunch, all your meals are from the buffet, however your main course in the evening can be waiter served on request. There is a good selection of meat or fish dishes daily. You will also see some show cooking at breakfast and evening dinner times, plus a Canarian or South American dinner every 2 weeks. If you're out in the evening, you can exchange your evening meal for a take away picnic lunch.
The hotel transfer time from the airport is around 40 minutes. The location of the Hotel Guayarmina Princess in Costa Adeje ideal, it's only 150 metres from the beach and 100 metres from the nearest shops. Playa de las Americas is just 2 miles from the hotel.
